Dinosaur Feathers - Family Waves

For those unfamiliar with Last.FM it has a feature that shows you your last 10 played songs. Family Waves was the first song I have ever listened to on repeat for so long that it filled up all 10 slots. I think that’s testament enough to just how highly I rate this song. Dinosaur Feathers are one of those bands that are so good you can’t understand how they aren’t more well known. This is catchiness on a level deserving a Top 40 spot. This is vocal harmony that could give Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison a run for their money. This is sunny warmth that belongs on the beaches of Florida. I could honestly go on and on about how good this song is but I think it is pretty much self explanatory. I will end by recommending that you also check out the acoustic version from Big Yellow Couch. It’s where I first heard the song and it sounds just as amazing.
